Pullip China China Repaint
This is not exactly a full custom, but a repaint and rebody.
I bought Pullip “China! China!” to honor my heritage. However, the doll is too old and showed signs of obvious aging even though she was NIB. Her face sealant yellowed and her waist melted and fused into her underwear.
It was expected, so instead of getting upset, I decided to salvage her. I rebodied her with an Obitsu 27. My daughter likes the mobility of the old Pullip body and doesn’t mind the fusing, so she put a Barbie head on it, which works well for her. Then I sanded off her old sealant and face up, except the lips (I like those lips). The redo was a success! I love her so much that I decided to keep her! 🥰

Yeolume from School to Fun
[Adopted] In time I also fell in love with Yeolume, Pullip’s future daughter. Her face is so sweet! Even though her eyes can’t blink, they can look left and right, Her body is a lil too flimsy to me, so I rebodied her with an Azone Pure Neemo XS body. Then I removed her old face up and gave her a new face up. Also made her outfit. She is now back from school and enjoying some fun play time. The day she got adopted, it felt like I was marrying a daughter. So happy that she is going to a loving owner! 💕

May 2023, I was entrusted by a lovely lady from a Pullip collector FB group to custom repaint her mocha Pullip head. I enjoyed every bit of it 🥰 💕

[Adopted] My Second Full Custom Pullip
This one is a mocha doll. Again I did her faceup, hand picked her wig and eyechips, hand-made her outfit set, and got her the shoes from CoolCat. She, too, has gone to her loving owner and forever home. Thank you so much for adopting her! 💓 I'm posting her here only for record keeping 😀
[Adopted] My First Official Full Custom Pullip
This is my first ever official full custom Pullip. Did her faceup (primed and sealed properly), made her outfit set including her purse, bought matching shoes from CoolCat. She's already adopted, found her forever loving home. Thank you so much for adopting her! I'm posting her here only for record keeping 😍

First Pullip MIO Got a Makeover
Isul MIO kit My Second MIO
So... as I was searching for alternative bodies for Pullip, I came across Obitsu 26cm bodies. They are so elegant and movable! I only had one problem with Ob26 bodies, which is, they are a little two short for the big Pullip head in my eyes. Them I realized that Isul (Pullip's little brother) has a smaller head and can probably be adapted into a girl. There came my Isul MIO kit. I sold his body and bought an Ob26 girl body for her (I'm not a boy doll person in general, although I would later buy Kiki, my only boy doll, to match with Lala, because they are twins from the Sanrio Twin Stars). I didn't have the tools or the skills yet to carve, so I just relied on paint to make her face look more girly (still didn't know about the MSC thing at the time -- the bottle that you see at the background is not MSC, it's saline spray for my allergy LOL). So, here she was!
I would later disassemble her, carve her face to look more girly, and plan to repaint her. I got side tracked with customizing more Pullips and Blythes... just haven't found the time for her yet. But I've promised to myself that I will 😁
My First Pullip MIO Kit
After getting Pullip Kagezakura, I discovered the MIO (make it own) kit. How fun! I promptly got myself one. It was the most fun thing I've done in years! At first, I didn't know about MSC/sealants or micro paint brushes. So I just used acrylic paint with the smallest brush that I had and painted on the raw plastic LOL
Not bad for the very first attempt... Then I realized that I didn't like her overly think body, so along came the Obitsu (which is "little box with a lid" or "little jar" in Japanese) 27 cm body. And switched her body!
