Dream Fairy Doll 1

In searching for clothes for my Unoa Sist doll, I discovered 1/4 Dream Fairy dolls! They are made of a porcelain-like high quality plastic and have hinge joints instead of elastic threaded ball joints. So, in the joint department, they are like the Blythe and Pullip dolls, but when it comes to feel and size, they are more like BJDs. The price is good, too! I couldn’t help but get one for my daughter— in terms of promoting healthy body image, they are way better! After getting this beautiful doll in kitty costume, my daughter has finally accepted how beautiful more realistic proportion is and never complains about her thigh being too thick anymore (in reality they really totally aren’t, which goes to show how body positive doll can positively impact a child’s psyche). She loves this doll. I do, too. 😻❤️🥰

What a week!

Long story short, my computer messed up and it took me a whole entire week to get my photos backed up on my PC to my portable hard drive. It took me a long time to figure out how to deactivate OneDrive, un-sync photos from iCloud, and back them up also on Google Photos. Anyways… my plan to get my new custom dolls’ face up done just went down the drain… But… Here’s a cute screenshot from a fashion game…

BellaDolla Pullip Doll Petunia

This is lovely Petunia. She is a BellaDolla custom Pullip. I got her nude with wig, new from her creator. Then I made her hair band, dress, and tights. Bought her matching purse and shoes. Her original violet/light purple color scheme was kept, her outfit set, inspired by her original outfit which I didn’t buy for saving funds. When I made her outfits, I had a lil flower faery in mind. So, here she is, in her wondrous demure glory and her sweet pensiveness. I love her so much that I wrote a poem only for her 🧚🤩🥰❤️💕

 

Lovely Shirley Temple Blythe

When I was a kid, I loved watching Shirley Temple movies. I dreamed of having a Shirley Temple inspired doll—not the kind that looked exactly like her, ‘cause that’s a little scary for me. Blythe has made my dream come true!! I got into this hobby a few years after this doll was released. So, this one is a little pricey. But I love love love her! 🥰 ❤️
